Beloveds, having a true, authentic "relationship" with Jesus has not ONE thing to do with religion. Jesus said, it is finished. There is nothing you can do to earn salvation except believe in Christ and Him crucified. Jesus came to destroy religion and religious leaders. If you are following a religion rather than Jesus, you are being led astray. Mary can not hear prayers any more than moses, she was fully human and she is dead, that is idolism. If you hold your pastor on a pedastol, that is idolism. In Luke 4:8 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only. Be careful with what doctrine you allow into your hearts. Make sure you follow Jesus and Him alone. Make sure you are being taught from the Bible and the Bible alone.
God is a jealous God, He will not take people who play around with His word and twist things up and choose to follow their hearts instead of His word. He said to guard your hearts above all else, because the heart is desperately wicked. Pray without ceasing and continue to ask God to reveal His truth, not mans.
