Looking for a meaningful way to support Israel?

The Artists for ZAKA Art Fair is a fundraiser supporting mental health services for ZAKA volunteers coping with the trauma they have experienced in the aftermath of October 7.

Through art, community, and generosity, we can help support the volunteers who have carried out some of the most difficult and heartbreaking work imaginable.

🎨 Thursday, August 27 | 5–9 PM
📍 1975 Shermer Rd., Northbrook
🕯️ Art auction from 7–8 PM featuring Judith Raanan, whose paintings reflect her deeply personal experience as a hostage in Gaza.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE LEVIN !

Dear Friends,

Lee Levin, one of the many treasures of our community, turned 70 years old on July 1st, the same day as his and Dr. Elena Batman Levin’s 25th anniversary. And that’s not all, for Lee is retiring at the end of this year after decades in television broadcasting.

I will interview Lee on Shabbat morning during services about his career, including its Jewish components.

We will also discuss the Jewish background that led to his tremendous dedication to our synagogue.

Join us this Shabbat morning as we celebrate our friend Lee.
