Riveted Worship Band

Riveted Worship Band Riveted Worship Band is the worship band for Riveted Church in Skiatook, OK. Our focus is to adore God and inspire others to worship in Spirit and Truth.

In addition to leading worship at Riveted Church, we are available to lead worship for camps, retreats and other special events. We would love the opportunity to serve the Bride of Christ, whether is an intimate acoustic time, an exciting amped up time or somewhere in between, we are thrilled to worship with you! Thank you!

Yes! We must decrease! Jesus must increase!πŸ’—πŸ™Œ

Every worship team has a version of this conversation before soundcheck. Somebody's mic wasn't hot enough. Somebody's part got cut. Somebody wanted more of themselves in the monitor.

None of that makes you a bad worship leader. It just shows you what you brought with you that morning.

John the Baptist said it plainly in John 3:30. "He must increase, I must decrease." He said that while his own followers were walking away to follow Jesus, and he called it joy. Not loss. Joy.

At 8:45 on a Sunday, decreasing looks like this. You sing the melody clean so a room of non-singers can actually find it, even when you could do more. You cut the third chorus repeat because the room already stopped singing and you're the only one still going. You stop checking the IMAG screen to see how you look.

Your voice, your tone, your playing, your leadership. All of it is a hand pointing away from itself.

The goal on Sunday is a room that leaves talking about Jesus and can't quite tell you why the music worked.

Save this, and read it to your team as a reminder before soundcheck tomorrow!

Where would I be if I didn't have Jesus? πŸ€”

Ephesians 2:12: "Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ... having no hope and without God in the world."

Thank God I'll never know! ✝️πŸ₯°πŸ’Ÿ

Jesus in the morning πŸŒ… Jesus in the noon time 🌞 Jesus when the sun goes down πŸŒ„

Worship isn’t something you turn on when the music starts. It’s a life of loving, obeying, and following Jesus that eventually finds its voice in song. When your life reflects Christ throughout the week, your singing on Sunday becomes an authentic overflow instead of something manufactured πŸ”₯

Your biggest mistake during worship is usually believing everyone noticed it.

Most worship leaders replay every missed note, forgotten lyric, or wrong chord long after the service ends. To be real, most people leave talking about Jesus, not about your mistake.

When Christ is the focus, your imperfections quickly fade into the background. Keep growing in excellence, but never let one moment steal your confidence or distract you from the privilege of leading people to Him.

What is one mistake you’ve made while leading worship that God used to teach you something bigger than the mistake itself?
