In today’s Gospel, Jesus shares three beautiful parables of God’s mercy: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. Through these stories, Jesus reminds us that God never stops seeking us, loving us, and welcoming us home.

Even when we wander away, God’s mercy is always greater than our mistakes. Like the father who joyfully welcomes his lost son home, our Heavenly Father waits for us with open arms, ready to forgive and restore us.

As we gather for Holy Mass, may we open our hearts to God’s mercy and remember that no one is ever too far away to be found by Him. May we also be willing to extend that same mercy, forgiveness, and love to others.

For 175 years, St. Mary’s of the Lake has been a place where generations of faithful have gathered to worship, pray, celebrate the sacraments, and grow together in faith. What a beautiful blessing to celebrate this incredible milestone! ⛪️❤️

This Sunday, we invite you to join us for a special 175th Anniversary Mass celebrated by Bishop Douglas Lucia as we give thanks for our parish’s rich history and look forward to the years ahead.

We pray for all those who lost their lives that day, in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Welcome them into Your eternal embrace and grant them everlasting peace.
We pray for the families and loved ones who continue to carry the pain of loss. Give them comfort, strength, and the assurance that those they loved will never be forgotten. We give thanks for the firefighters, police officers, emergency responders, military personnel, medical workers, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage and compassion. Bless all who risked
their lives to save others, and remember with mercy those who later suffered from the lasting effects of their service.

Starting at approximately 11:00 a.m. until sold out. Our Chicken BBQ is being prepared by Mooney's BBQ, known throughout Central New York for their delicious barbecue.

While RSVPs are not required, they are greatly appreciated and help us plan for the appropriate amount of food. Please reserve your meal(s) by completing the RSVP form or sign up after Masses.
