The time to die is now.
If you still desire the things of this world, you MUST deny your flesh and DIE.
Jesus didn’t come so you would get comfortable in your lifestyles.
He came so you would seek His face and be drawn out of your lifestyles!
He wants you free, but there is no freedom from something without the death of it.
You wanna be free from drugs?
Kill the habit by throwing them away, flushing the pills, burning the needles (in a safe & guided manner). Dispose of completely; destroy all smoking devices, rid yourselves of ci******es, joints, vapes, pens, and ma*****na INCLUDING c*d. These are gateways to a deeper and more damaging life.
Stand up and say enough is enough. To be free from drugs, drugs have to die in your life.
You wanna be free from sexual immorality?
Block contact with your sneaky links and delete all your pornographic website accounts.
Stop sleeping around with strangers who are only leaving you more empty than before you started. This creates soulties that keep you bound in the shackles of your demise. S*x is for marriage only. Not for your weekend appeasement. To be free from sexual immorality, sexual immorality has to die in your life.
You wanna be free from depression?
Depression is a sneaky killer. So what do you do when your mind is attacked? You take thoughts captive,
(“I take these negative thoughts captive and I cover my mind with the blood of Christ. I am no longer a slave to the spirit of depression. I renounce coming into agreement with the lie that I am depressed, and I choose the sound mind of Christ in exchange for this dirge [a slow, mournful funeral song], and I pick up my cross to walk in my newfound freedom in Christ STARTING TODAY.”)
Does anything above apply to you? Maybe all of them apply!
Do you wanna be free from shame? How about guilt? Maybe you need freedom from your scars? You could also be seeking refuge from your past….
You need the gospel.
Yes, it’s that simple.
He was murdered- sent to the gallows of Calvary to be slain as a martyr, all so that you could be free.
He bore 39 lashes on His back— a whip dressed with stone and bone, meant to bring agonizing suffering upon the sinful one.
Jesus never sinned. He came down in the form of man, as God. He is FULLY MAN and FULLY GOD.
You might be thinking, “what kind of God would die so I can be free?” Or maybe you’re thinking, “why would anyone wanna die to save others?”
The answer is, again, a simple answer.
Love.
The answer is Love.
He IS Love, came down in Love, to show us His Love, by GIVING His Love, that we may receive His Love (Him), and love Him in return.
With arms wide open, and His heart exposed…. Bleeding. He is the way out of your suffering. He is the ONLY way out of those trenches.
To be frank with you, I’ve been in all of the places I mentioned above, and some that I didn’t mention- otherwise you’d be reading this for hours…. But God redeems.
He sets free and gives way to enter into His Glory and Kingdom.
All you need to do is kill your flesh by dying to the world and coming alive in Christ
