The Round K**b Church of God Youth Christmas Mission Project this year was to get gifts for 10 residents at the Woodland Retirement Center. Our youth did such a wonderful job that we ended up with enough money collected that ALL 125 residents will be able to get a gift from the youth group. There was an additional 45 pairs of slippers that were bought to be given to some of the residents who does not have family to bring them any gifts during the holiday season. The presents were delivered today but unfortunately due to there being an influenza restriction, the kids were not able to do the caroling and hand deliver some of the gifts. The kids all had a great time with this project as well as the adults. We have a great group of kids and a great church family. God definitely blessed this mission and continues to bless this church.

Praise God for such a great turnout to our Blessing of the Backpacks service this morning. We had 21 total kids in attendance. We pray for all the children, teachers, bus drivers, support staff, and administration to have a blessed and safe school year.

Today’s bible day camp was a lot of fun! The kids learned about the “man who was swallowed by a whale and lived to tell the tale”, “the strong man”, and “the lion tamer”. The lessons about Jonah, Samson and Daniel fit right in with the carnival theme. After the lessons, the kids had lots of fun playing games and bouncing on the bounce house! Fan favorite game was most definitely “pie the preacher” where the kids lined up eagerly awaiting the chance to pie pastor Jeff Musser in the face!! Thank you to everyone that helped make this day a success.
