Sioux Falls Canaries Chapel Canaries Chapel is a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry for players, coaches and staff of the Sioux Falls Canaries.

Canaries Chapel is a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry entering its eighth season. The purpose of this biblically based ministry is to serve the players by providing an opportunity to be connected spiritually. It is also a service for all players to be able to seek answers, counsel and support. Chapel invites all players to meet on Sundays throughout the season beginning in May. Canaries Chapel is led by team chaplain Corey Camp.

A historic moment unfolded at Kyle Field as the Savannah Bananas played before a record 102,000 fans, where outfielder Coach RAC (RobertAnthony Cruz) led a heartfelt prayer over the crowd. Thanking God for families in attendance, Cruz asked that those feeling lost would find community and experience peace through Jesus Christ. He also reflected on a recent worship night with teammates, describing it as a powerful moment of ministry and connection with the next generation.

Cruz encouraged fans to live with purpose, calling believers to be “salt and light” and to recognize that fame and success cannot satisfy the soul. The event highlighted how faith continues to shape moments even in entertainment and sports. How can platforms like sports become powerful spaces for sharing the Gospel today?
