Camp at Bill Rice Ranch was a blast! Lots of fun memories and spiritual decisions were made. Enjoy a recap video of the week to give you a taste of what it was like.

To say that camp has flown by would be an understatement! Thursday was such a great day. Bro. McConnell preached a very practical message on why and how we should have a more consistent walk with God. Dr. Bill preached his last message on sin, and it was very helpful. Pastor Jett preached on the need to stand for God not only on the outside but also in our hearts. All of the messages resonated with our teens, and nearly the whole group responded today. We are so thankful for how the Lord has spoken to the teens' hearts and for how He has spoken through our Pastor to so many teens from around the country. Please pray for the teens as they have 3 more messages, and for Pastor as he preaches twice today.

The kids did great in the sports. They played basketball and volleyball, with the guys winning 1 of the 2 games in each. They had great spirits this week and a great time together. Some of the teens went swimming, some played mini-golf, some played carpet ball, some played gaga ball, and many drank coffee. Overall, it was a great day!

Please pray for the remaining services, as well as for safety on the drive home tonight and throughout the day tomorrow.

Wednesday at camp was a great day! The day started with an incredible message from Pastor Jett about forgiveness. In the evening, Dr. Bill also preached on forgiveness and the seriousness of sin. Many teens responded, and God really worked on their hearts about forgiving because Jesus Christ has forgiven them. Bro. McConnell also preached a powerful message about trials and how God’s unchanging nature provides peace and security through them.

The day was filled with girls’ volleyball and basketball, and guys’ football, soccer, and basketball. The teens did a great job and had a great time together. The guys will play in the semi-finals for basketball and volleyball today, and the girls will also be playing basketball.

Lacey placed first in the solo competition! The youth choir is one of the top two finalists, and the mixed ensemble sang in the first round of competitions. We are so proud of all of them!

Tuesday at the Bill Rice Ranch was a great day! Bro. McConnell preached on salvation; Dr. Bill Rice III preached a powerful message on sin; and Pastor Jett preached an extremely powerful message on the impact of the voices we allow in our lives and how they shape our choices. The teens responded really well, and the Lord is clearly working in their hearts.

The day was full of sports and music competitions. The boys won in volleyball, basketball, and football, and the girls won in volleyball as well. They will play their first basketball game tomorrow. Lacey sang in the solo competition, and the youth choir sang tonight as well. Everyone did a great job, and we’re very proud of them! Please continue to pray that God would work in our hearts this week.

The campers made it safely to the Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, TN! We thank the Lord for the safety He provided and for the great message on salvation tonight. The McCrary girls and Arabelle both competed in the instrumental contest and did a great job! Tomorrow begins the first full day of camp with preaching, sports tournaments, music competitions, and more. Please pray that God would continue to bless the week!

The 2026 Youth Conference is a wrap! We had a great weekend with games, food, fellowship, music, bowling, laser tag, and, most importantly, preaching. God really used Pastor Alfred King, and the Lord worked very clearly in the hearts of the young people who were there. We hope you’ll join us for our conference next year, May 28th & 29th, 2027. The youth of Eastside Baptist Church will host a car wash on Saturday, May 9th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Please support the youth by getting your car washed. All proceeds will help the teens attend youth camp in Murfreesboro, TN. If you would like to sponsor the car wash with a one-time donation or by pledging a set amount per car, please email [email protected] or speak with one of the teens attending camp.
