We had a great last day of camp at BRR! The day started with split sessions for the girls and guys. The guys learned how to have a victorious Christian life by 1. Replacing the bad with the good. 2. Requesting God’s help in times of temptation. 3. Responding to the Holy Spirit’s leading during temptation. The girls were taught how to find value not in their appearance or personality, but in how and why God made them.

The day continued with fun times at Cowboy Town, camp choir, and then packing up for the trip home. In the afternoon, we attended the annual camp rodeo, and it was a lot of fun! Let’s just say we didn’t smell very good after chasing those pigs! :) After the rodeo, the guys played in the softball championship and barely lost in the last inning by 3 runs. It was quite the game! The kids did great in sports all week and had a blast!

The night ended with a powerful message from Bro. Schettler on how to rise after failing in order to keep the decisions made at camp. It was challenging but also very encouraging. Nearly every camper responded to the invitation and committed to the Lord that they would not give up when they fail.

Thank you all for your prayers this week. It was clear that the Lord worked in the campers’ hearts, and He has provided safety so far on the trip. We can’t wait to share more about the week at church tomorrow night. You won’t want to miss the Sunday evening service tomorrow!

Thursday at the Bill Rice Ranch has come to a close. What a fun day it was! It was filled with great preaching, fun games, music competitions, swimming, and more!

The day began with a powerful message from Bro. Chris Miller about the importance of taking a stand for God as a young person. The morning continued with Dr. Bill Rice preaching about key points to consider when thinking about who God might want you to marry in the future. The evening’s message from Bro. Schettler focused on embracing our God-given roles of gender. Nearly every teen responded at the invitation, whether in the morning or evening, God has really been working in their hearts!

The McCrary girls’ violin duet placed 2nd in the instrumental contest; they did so well! We are so proud of how all the teens did in the music competitions this week.

In the afternoon, the guys won the semi-final softball game and will be playing in the championship game tomorrow. They also competed in the semi-finals in football but came up short. They all played hard and kept great spirits; it was an exciting afternoon!

We covet your prayers for two things: 1. That the Lord would speak to the teens today and they would respond however He leads them. 2. That we would have safe travels as we drive back through the night and arrive home tomorrow.

Wednesday was another full and awesome day at camp!

In the morning, Bro. Jim Schettler delivered an incredible message on forgiveness: “Releasing someone from their debt and letting God be their judge,” then Bro. Chris Miller spoke about having the boldness to share the gospel with those around us. In the evening, Dr. Bill Rice preached on God’s design for being pure before and during marriage. Our kids are really beginning to respond, and it seems like the Lord is working!

The guys did great in their sports today, winning games in football and softball, and losing a very close basketball game. They will be playing in the semi-finals/finals tomorrow in football and softball. They have shown excellent sportsmanship, and we are very proud of them!

In the evening, there was an instrumental competition, and Ella and Joyce played a strings duet, while Arabelle performed a flute solo, and they all did such a great job! We are so proud of the teens for getting involved in the music this week!

We also celebrated Jacob’s (Aka, Jr Jr’s) 12th birthday with a piñata and cupcakes. He really enjoyed it!

Please keep praying that the Lord speaks to our teens and that they will be willing and open to whatever God has for them the rest of this week.

Tuesday was a great day at the Bill Rice Ranch! The morning started with devotions, cabin clean up, a great message on our trust and faith in God in our walk with Him as well as a message on God’s view of our relationships.

We also started the sports competitions today. The teens played all the sports and did a great job. The boys won all their games and will be playing again tomorrow.

The music competitions continued with Lacey taking first place in the solo competition! The young men’s quartet, the young ladies' trio, and the youth choir all sang in the first round of competitions and did so well; we are very proud of them!

The night ended with a very powerful message from Bro. Jim Schettler on the need to surrender our own will to God and let Him take control of our lives. The teens responded very well, and many of them made decisions. Please pray that the Lord would continue to speak to the teens in the coming days and that they would be willing to listen.

The campers arrived safely at Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, TN. We are very thankful for those who prayed for us and for the safety that the Lord provided during our night of travel.

Bro. Miller preached on salvation and faith tonight, and did a great job!

The first music contest started tonight with Lacey singing a solo. She did such a great job! We will find out the results of the contest tomorrow.

We start the week tomorrow with three preaching services, cabin cleanup, sports competitions, music competitions, and more!

Please pray for our teens that they will surrender to whatever the Lord wants from them through the preaching this week.

What a great weekend we had last week! Youth Conference 2025 was a blast. We had great fellowship, fun, food, singing, and most of all, great preaching! Pastor Ryan Rench did a phenomenal job, and the Lord clearly worked in the lives of the teens. We hope you can join us next year, May 29th & 30th, 2026! Enjoy a recap video from the weekend.

Wednesday was another full and awesome day at camp!

In the morning, Bro. Chris Miller preached on having a correctable spirit and Bro. Jim Schettler preached an incredible message on bitterness! In the evening Dr. Bill Rice preached a message on surrendering your future to God and several of our teenagers decided to give their lives to the Lord to do with as He desires. Our kids have really started to respond and it seems like the Lord is working!

The guys did great in their sports yesterday and will be playing in the championship game for softball today. They have had great sportsmanship and we are so proud of them!

Yesterday morning Kaitlyn and Lacey sang in the second round of the group competition and they won first place! Ella and Joyce played a strings duet and they did a great job! They will be competing in the second round this morning. We are so proud of the teens getting involved in the music this week!

Please continue to pray that the Lord would speak to our teens and that they would be willing and open to whatever God wants for them the rest of this week.
