Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

This scripture reminds us that now is high time to rise from spiritual lethargy and prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord. It is referring to God's decisive, opportune and strategic time, known as Cairos time, which is different from human timing. In the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), the five foolish virgins eventually became ready but not at the timing of the bridegroom, and the door was shut before they could enter.

Spiritual sleep can look like prayerlessness, loss of passion for God, compromise with the world, or becoming indifferent to the things of the Spirit. Scripture calls us to cast off the works of darkness, put on the armor of light, and clothe ourselves with the presence of Jesus Christ.

“The Lord gives the command; the women who proclaim the good news are a great army.” Psalm 68:11

Throughout Scripture, women like Deborah, Esther, Ruth, Jael, Lydia, Tabitha, Priscilla, and Anna are remembered for their obedience, faithfulness, courage, and willingness to step into the call of God on their lives.

Others, like Lot’s wife and Jezebel, are remembered for disobedience and resisting the purposes of God.

Every one of us has influence, and we will use it either to build God’s kingdom or work against it. What will you be remembered for?

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” (Matthew 21:10).
Centuries later, humanity is still asking the same question: "Who is Jesus?", and there is no more consequential question a person will ever face, because the answer not only determines the direction of one’s life on earth, but carries eternal significance.

The church is called to reflect Him, reveal, and glorify Jesus and help the world get he answer to that question accurately. May we never keep Christ to ourselves! May we let our words, actions, and love point those around us to the Savior so that no one in our circles perishes without truly knowing Him.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5
Jesus didn’t call us to strive in our own strength—He called us to abide in Him. Discover what it truly means to remain connected to Christ as branches to the Vine, bearing fruit through intimacy, dependence, and obedience. 🌿
