How can I even begin to describe todayโs anniversary celebration?
Earlier today, I posted that I was excited. But more than excitement, I came into this day with expectation.
And not only did G-d meet my expectation. He exceeded it.
Bishop Isaiah Merritt, thank you for being sensitive to the Spirit of G-d and for ministering, preaching, and teaching so effectively today. You encouraged me, but you also encouraged and strengthened the entire house. We are better because you came.
Lady Greta Merritt, thank you for your words of insight, confirmation, and affirmation. They were timely, necessary, and received. We are strengthened because of them.
To Macedonia Church of Grovetown, thank you for following and supporting Bishop and for traveling to celebrate with us. Your presence meant more than you know.
Bishop Carl Parrott, thank you for being here and sharing this moment with us.
Pastor Matthew Long and Pastor Delena Flood, thank you for your presence, your love, and your support.
To my family who traveled from Columbia, Pastor Diane Grant and company, Cousin Yvonne, Cousin Ashley, and everyone who came to celebrate with us, thank you. You blessed me tremendously.
To ALL of our family and friends who traveled from Columbia, Georgia, North Carolina, and beyond, thank you for making the sacrifice to be with us today. You may never fully understand how much your presence meant to us.
And to the BEST church family ever, The Kingโs Worship Center International, what can I say?
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your giving.
Thank you for your love.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for believing in the vision.
And thank you for allowing Lady Nicole and me the privilege of serving you.
To all of our leaders, elders, and deacons, sound and media teams, our musicians-you are simply wonderful. We love and appreciate you more than words can adequately express.
And we cannot forget the saints who FED THE PEOPLE! ๐
Mama Sheila, Mama Vern, and Sister Caroline, thank you for that glorious feast you prepared today. You made sure everybody left spiritually AND naturally full! We love and appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts.
Today reminded me again that twelve years have not simply been about longevity. They have been about G-dโs faithfulness.
Through every season, every challenge, every victory, every transition, every tear, every prayer, and every testimony, G-d has sustained us.
Twelve years.
And after today, I am more convinced than ever that there is still more ahead of us than there is behind us.
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make our 12th Pastoral Anniversary a day we will never forget.
Enjoy your Sunday. Rest well.
And when we gather again on the first Sunday of September, we begin fresh.
Until we speak againโฆ
Peace abide.
