Empowerment Worship Center In 2009 God gave Pastor Perry a vision and assignment to begin Empowerment Worship Center to inspire Pastor James Perry Jr. and the late Mother Perry.

was born in Charlotte, NC to Pastor James Perry Sr. He then moved to Clopton, Alabama at the age of 5 where he was raised. Pastor Perry came to know the Lord at an early age along with his 9 sisters and brothers. He was taught the principles of love and unity under his father at The United Church of God. Pastor Perry came to South Carolina in 1990 on a basketball scholarship to Lander University w

here he graduated in 1994 and met his wife 1st Lady Lisa Perry. They have been married for 19 years and the Lord has blessed them with 3 talented gifted boys Jamekole, Samuel and Jonathan.
