Morning devotional from Pastor Scott Lawson this morning.
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT
Last night all people came together and worked like a well oiled machine. I was so proud and encouraged at how everyone pitched in and helped each other out in making the move smooth. We were not able to complete the process, but man did we put a big dent in the process.
It’s amazing and encouraging to see the church, the body working together so closely. I am personally thanking each and every one of you and although being tired, the excitement of the move and the potential of possibilities is almost overwhelming!!!
So thankful that God has orchestrated this wonderful union and stoked to see how we all will get to glorify His name together. If three braids are strong and uneasily broken, how tough will 200 or 300 or 600 or 1,000 braids be??? Hang on God is about to do some unbelievable things!!! Have a blessed day!!!!!
