I'm late on this, but here is what we talked about last Sunday morning!

Advent Series: Peace
Scripture: Philippians 4:12
Truth to take: True peace is not just the absence of drama, conflict, etc., but something better in its place. We'll never have real peace until we realize just how broken we really are, just how lost we really are, and just how loving Jesus is. So, is there a hidden sin in your life that is robbing you of peace?

We wrapped up our first week of our Advent series last night talking about hope! This video by the Bible Project does a great job of explaining what biblical hope truly is.

We kicked off our Advent series yesterday! This is what we talked about:

Theme: Hope
Scripture: Romans 5:5
Truth to take: Because Jesus is who he said he is, and who was prophesied about in the OT, all of his followers WILL have hope and all that comes with it. This is what we should expect BECAUSE of Jesus, not our ability.
