On April 7, 2002 at 2pm, the 108 year old New Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Simmesport, united with the Tree of Life Baptist Church of Lettsworth, becoming the Tree of Calvary Baptist Church under the continued pastoralship of Rev. Following the Unity Service the church continued to grow spiritually and to stand firm on our motto as "The Church with Now Faith."
