Miley Cyrus made headlines after revealing to thousands of fans at the Hollywood Bowl that she believes she received a supernatural message from her late godmother, country music legend Dolly Parton. Cyrus described lighting a candle, placing a flower beside a life-sized mannequin of Dolly Parton, and playing her famous song Jolene. She then asked Dolly to give her a sign by flickering the lights. According to Miley, that’s exactly what happened. But Miley Cyrus is far from the first celebrity to claim some form of communication with the dead.
