We strive to be God-reliant, one in heart, mission-minded disciples of Jesus. We also believe the Bible is God's Word and the best source of truth in our world today. In it, we learn that Jesus is Lord and that He lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and rose again. It is in this belief we baptize repentant people for the forgiveness of sins, teaching them to obey all that Jesus commands. Simply
put, we believe in Jesus' life, death, and resurrection; and all that it means. We preach repentance and practice grace. More than a superficial change in behavior, repentance is a profound change of perspective. Grace is God's active love towards those who can't earn and don't deserve it. While no one is excluded from the grace of God, not everyone will receive it. Likewise, anyone can repent, but not everyone does. We want you to experience both. You can belong before you believe. If Jesus was anything, he was loving. But bad choices, situations, and outcomes have separated us from Him and each other. Yet Jesus offers a refuge for broken and hurting people. It's called "church" and is the place where His love and acceptance is available to all. We want our church to be your refuge. Come as you are, commit when you're ready. We take God at His Word. At Simi Church, the Bible is fundamental to our belief and practice. What may seem foolish to some and controversial to others, we've found to be sound and sensible. While many disbelieve, deny, and distance themselves from Scripture, we embrace it. God's Word is truth. God's Word is life. God's Word can be trusted.
