In our next series, we turn our gaze toward the Theology of the Body, with a special focus on the feminine genius and the unique spiritual gifts entrusted to women. Together, we’ll reflect on our varied roles as women in the Church and in God’s beautiful plan of creation.

Join us for meaningful conversation, fellowship, and encouragement as we watch Christopher West’s Theology of the Body seminar series across three separate gatherings hosted in the homes of CALM leaders. Please message us for the address. Refreshments will be provided. ☕✨

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Marissa Strauch, a beloved member of CALM, cherished friend, and bright light within the St. Rose of Lima community. Marissa was a St. Rose of Lima alumna, a former St Rose kindergarten teacher, and the loving sister of Principal Mrs. Harding. She came from a well-known and deeply loved parish family, and many also knew her as the niece of Father Joe Shea.

Marissa entered eternal rest on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 3:32 PM, surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Joe, and their three beautiful children.

Those who knew Marissa remember her joyful spirit, her positivity, and the warmth she carried into every room. People often felt lifted simply by being in her presence. She was loving, cheerful, and truly a light to so many. Always smiling.

We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to the Strauch family, as well as the extended Casanova and Shea families. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered with love.

She's been published in Newsweek, Daily Wire, National Review, The Federalist, and National Catholic Register. A Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center
