What a night. Over 70 men showed up for Catholic Men's Night on the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene at Saint Stephen Catholic Church — and it was everything we hoped for and more.

We started in Adoration and Vespers, went to Confession, prayed the Rosary together, and worshipped through a beautiful Sung Latin Mass. Then we packed the courtyard and hall for barbecue, beers, ci**rs, and brotherhood that lasted well into the night.

This is what Holy League is all about — men gathering in prayer and fellowship, building real friendships rooted in the Faith. Seeing that many men show up on a Wednesday night for this says everything about the hunger out there for authentic Catholic brotherhood.

Huge thank you to Saint Stephen Catholic Church, to Father Eric Andersen for the beautiful Mass, to everyone who brought food and helped set up/tear down, and to every single man who showed up ready to pray, eat, and be present with his brothers.

If you missed this one, don't miss the next. This is only the beginning.

Catholic Singles Event (21+) — January 31

On Saturday, January 31, we’re hosting a Catholic Singles Event (21+) focused not on quick tips or surface-level advice, but on intentionality, virtue, and formation—the foundations of healthy Catholic dating.

At 12:00 PM, we’ll hear a joint teaching from Fr. Eric Andersen and Jillian Kurvers, addressing what men and women need to consider when discerning marriage well.

What Will Be Covered

For Men:
• What it means to lead intentionally in dating
• Why clarity about marriage matters from the beginning
• The difference between potential and virtue
• How preparation for marriage starts long before dating

For Women:
• How to discern healthy expectations vs. unrealistic ones
• What core virtues actually matter in a future spouse
• How to recognize leadership rooted in virtue, not control
• Why discernment is about truth, not pressure

A Deeper Theme

Drawing from St. Paul’s teaching that the unmarried are called to be focused on the Lord, we’ll explore how every vocation is prepared for in the same way—by becoming a virtuous, God-centered person who has something real to give.

We’ll also look to the saints, including St. Rita of Cascia, as examples of how holiness and generosity—not manipulation or perfection—shape healthy relationships.

What to Expect
• A clear, faithful Catholic framework for dating
• Structured, meaningful conversation
• Lunch included
• A welcoming, respectful environment

This is not a matchmaking event and not about changing someone else.
It’s about becoming the person God is calling you to be—whether for marriage or another vocation.

What men will learn — and what to expect — on January 23

Many men know forgiveness matters.
Few have been given the space to actually experience it.

On Friday, January 23, 2026, we’re hosting a Catholic men’s evening designed to help men encounter God as Father and move toward real forgiveness — especially in areas tied to family wounds, shame, and patterns that repeat across generations.

What Men Will Learn
• Why forgiveness is often difficult for men
• How wounds from parents and family of origin shape faith and relationships
• The difference between deciding to forgive and living free
• How encountering God as Father restores identity and peace
• How prayer and the sacraments support real healing

The evening will be led by Bart Schuchts, with a dedicated prayer session led by Deacon James Thurman.
