Onyx will join Harlow in helping their parents to slow down and see the world from a child's perspective.

In blessing us, our great God is persistent.
Our God does not apply His hand to sorrow.
To give us goodness, our God is insistent,
To see unfold a firm and bright tomorrow.
He has no wish to dwell within the shades,
To reconsider yesterday’s mistakes;
He works towards joy for all that he has made,
Excluding thought for not one person’s sake.
The darkness spent its energy concealing,
But joy and light come with the glorious dawn.
What treasure will the sun’s light be revealing?
What will we see, with veils and shadows gone?
Upon an altar, resting shroud, love’s token,
The meal consumed, the price all paid, bonds broken.

On a recent Saturday I had the privilege of realizing that though many churches are empty on Saturdays, we were living up to our potential and Mission.

That Day there was a group assembled to interview a candidate for our Transitional Cottage program.

Christopher Wicks was in the Sanctuary practicing a piece on the Organ.

Then later that day one of our young members was celebrating her 3rd Birthday with a party in the fellowship hall.

Isn't this what community is? and what churches should be called to do? Bringing people of all ages together and making Joyful noise, be it https://youtu.be/86gZXTGEb1w?si=ssVu9DT4i6l8jtkq or 3 year olds squeals of laughter and glee.

The First Sunday in August we have Rev AJ Buckley we wil have a full Eucharistic service.

Morning prayer is offered on other Sundays and is done in an inviting inclusive style.
