Children of the Nations® (COTN®) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations. Founded in 1995, the organization currently provides care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. By partnering with local people, they establish Children’s Home

s (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who cannot properly provide for them). The programs and services they provide include education, nutrition, medical care, and community development initiatives such as agriculture, clean water projects, skills training, and more. COTN stands apart from other organizations in their goal not to provide relief, but rather to empower nationals to a life of self-sustainability.

What a wonderful day for a Meal Packing Event! Volunteers gathered alongside our new CEO, Steve Bundy, to assemble, pack, and pray over 1,512 meals that are now on their way to children in Sierra Leone.

Did you know that more than 30,000 children under the age of 5 in Sierra Leone are affected by malnutrition? Every meal packed is a tangible reminder that hope can be delivered one box, one prayer, and one act of service at a time.

We are deeply grateful for the humble servants who dedicate their time to helping transform lives. Want to make a difference too? You can volunteer and join us at an upcoming Meal Packing Event!

"TO GOD BE THE GLORY" This tour reminded me of something simple. When God's people respond, things change. Children sponsored. Families saying yes. Five countries. One body. Deepest gratitude to Tauren, his team, and every person who answered the call. To God be the glory.

There are some days that make you so incredibly grateful for the kindness and compassion of the people in your community.

World Water Day was one of those days for us.

We asked you to give so children would have the vital gift of health education, and you took action and gave generously!

By giving health education about handwashing, how to purify water, what water is safe to drink, how to prevent disease, and more, you are helping prevent dangerous waterborne diseases like cholera, diarrhea, typhoid fever, and more.

Thank you for stepping in to create healthier families and communities.

Today is World Water Day, and there’s one perfect way to celebrate: changing children’s lives.

Thanks to a generous donor, we have a unique opportunity. When you give before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, your gift will be matched, meaning your impact will go twice as far.

In the communities where we serve, dirty, contaminated water is a constant threat to families, affecting how they drink, bathe, and wash their hands.

Dirty water isn’t just an inconvenience—it can be deadly, causing cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, and other diseases that put children in harm’s way.

But by teaching children of all ages the importance of clean water, proper methods for handwashing, how to sanitize water, how to prevent disease, and more, you take that burden off of children’s shoulders and build a path to a healthy future.

Today, World Water Day, is the time to act. Give now at go.cotni.org/wwd2026.

Tomorrow is World Water Day!

Which means time is running out to have your gift matched, dollar for dollar, to provide DOUBLE the care to children in Africa and the Caribbean.

This is one of those days where showing up changes everything.

When you give for World Water Day, you’ll provide vital health education about handwashing, the importance of clean water, how to purify water, and so much more.

Health education doesn’t just help today—it is a gift that lasts a lifetime, creating healthier, safer, and more informed families and communities.

Give today at go.cotni.org/wwd2026 to have your gift doubled.

Health education isn’t just a classroom lesson. It’s a lifelong skill that empowers and protects children at any age.

That’s why our in-country staff start health education as early as nursery school, teaching age-appropriate lessons that help a child at each stage of their life.

This World Water Day, will you protect children with health education?

With the $10,000 World Water Day match, your gift will go 2X as far in impacting the lives of vulnerable children.

Tennah, one of the secondary school students in our ministry, says, "I learned that treating water makes it safe for drinking and cooking. . . . I carefully check water before using it, and I filter and boil stream or well water to make it safe."

These lessons may seem simple, but they have life-changing impacts. They are the difference between a child getting constantly sick from dirty water and a child staying healthy and well, able to reach their full potential.

Have your gift matched now at go.cotni.org/wwd2026 .

GREAT NEWS—We now have a $10,000 matching gift for World Water Day! 🎉

That means when you give before midnight on March 22, every dollar will be matched and DOUBLE in impact.

We asked children from our ministry why water safety is so important for them and their community:

Vandi: "It is important because safe water keeps us healthy and prevents sickness."

Miatta: "It helps us avoid diseases like cholera and diarrhea."

Tenneh: "Safe water makes sure we can cook and drink without fear of contamination."

David: "It protects everyone in the community from germs and harmful substances."

This is the power of your generosity.

Give now at https://go.cotni.org/wwd2026 to have 2X the impact in children’s lives.
