The Highway Church

The Highway Church You are neither too good to stay out nor too bad to come in.

One important lesson from Acts 15 is simply that the God who once told Samuel that He does not see what man sees, but looks at the heart, has acknowledged the believers and gave them the Holy Spirit. God still sees the heart, calls the unlikely, uses the weak, raises the "unimportant", the no-names, the forgotten. If you feel any of that, you are in good company!

Nothing can be more unsettling than waiting for what we expect. And when we don't know exactly what it is that has been promised, the waiting can become like "what's the point?" The 120 were waiting, not knowing what or how it was going to happen. However, the issue here was that they were there in obedience to Jesus' command to remain. So many times, with God, the "go, walk, fulfill" part of His promise is found the "stay" part of it.

We are under the Blood of Jesus. It is not just a symbolic statement. It is more -much more- than forgiveness alone, it places you inside the place where God's promise is fulfilled on your life. It is the place where you are an overcomer. No, you cannot "use" the Blood, but you must remain under the Blood of the Lamb. There is no other place of blessing.

There is a profound comfort in knowing that the One who created us also walked in our shoes. When life feels overwhelming and wounds go deep, it helps to remember that Jesus exists at the intersection of divinity and humanity. He felt human pain, yet possesses the divine power to heal it. Whether in a sanctuary or a quiet moment of prayer, an encounter with Him isn't just a religious ritual—it's a pathway to restoration. He doesn't just watch from afar; He understands because He has been wounded too. A powerful reminder for anyone seeking peace today.

Ever feel like you’re carrying a burden too heavy to bear alone? There is profound comfort in knowing that you aren't walking through the fire by yourself. This powerful message reflects on the truth that because He became like us, He truly understands the weight of human hurt, guilt, and pain. It’s a beautiful reminder that Emmanuel isn't just a distant concept—He is the steady rock, the faithful healer, and the promise that is always kept. Take a moment to be reminded that you are seen, known, and deeply loved by a God who walked in your shoes.

A moment of worship and reflection as a passionate speaker shares a message of reverence at The Highway Church. Not a musical performance but just the atmosphere is filled with devotion. It’s a touching reminder of the strength found in faith and the beauty of coming together to celebrate Jesus.

We do not always realize the meaning of Isaiah 53 where it says, "Acquainted with Grief". It simply means that Jesus knows you, He knows your hurts, your frustrations, your hopes, your illnesses; He knows it all because He became one like us, and experienced our pains, our expectations, our struggles. And because He did, He knows. He is the one who knows your pain because He went through it, yet He is able to lift you up, because He is also the powerful God who loves us.

There is an undeniable shift that occurs when the name of Jesus is spoken from within the presence of God. It’s more than just words; it’s an atmosphere-changing declaration. Whether facing personal trials, navigating family challenges, or looking over a city, there is power in lifting His name above every situation and every trouble. Experience the reminder that when we place our focus on the promises of God, we find the strength to stand firm and the peace to move forward.

Ever feel like you’re waiting indefinitely for God’s promise to manifest in your life? It’s easy to get frustrated when the desert seasons stretch on longer than expected. But what if the purpose of the waiting isn’t just about the end goal, but about transformation?

There is a profound shift in perspective here: the true blessing isn't a transactional gift we receive from a distance; it is a Person we dwell within. When the focus remains solely on the what rather than the Who, it's easy to miss the fullness of what God is doing right now. True peace and provision aren't just found at the finish line—they are found in the daily reality of being in Him.

Your promise is found only in one place: In Jesus. He IS the promise. Apart from Jesus you might enjoy some bits of blessings, but you can never find fulfillment. Separate from Jesus, you separate yourself from the fullness of the Promise. The question resounds through the ages: What do you seek?
