Tonight, Amelia had the opportunity to share about her recent trip to Guatemala with GO at the newlife.tv PM Gathering.

During the trip, Amelia helped build a shed at HOPE in San Antonio and saw firsthand the impact of GO’s sponsorship program. Through sponsorship, children receive nutritious meals, tutoring, English education, music and sports opportunities, and access to Bible Club, where they learn about the hope and love found in Jesus.

Thank you, Amelia, for sharing your experience and helping the church see how God is working through partnerships like these around the world. We are grateful for everyone who supports this life-changing ministry.

GO Back Thursday

This was Bethesda School in 2014… and what a difference 10 years can make!

Today, Bethesda has grown from a small beginning into a thriving school serving students from preschool through 7th grade, with enrollment more than doubling over the years.

We’re so thankful for God’s faithfulness, faithful partners, and the incredible growth that continues to impact children and families in Senegal.

Last week, Grace School celebrated Cultural Day—a special tradition that honors the many different tribes represented in the community.

The children came dressed in traditional clothing, enjoyed national dishes, and celebrated the beauty of their cultures together. It’s always one of the favorite days of the year!

Fundraising for the roof replacement is officially COMPLETE, and work has already begun! This photo shows the difference between the completed insulated section and the portion still waiting to be finished—what an incredible transformation already.

Thank you to everyone who gave, prayed, and helped make this possible. Your generosity is creating a safer, better space for the children who call this place home.

For years, Oumou’s mother wasn’t sure what her daughter’s future would look like. Oumou, now 9 years old and autistic, didn’t walk until she was five and a half, and school once felt completely out of reach.

But her mother never stopped hoping, caring, and fighting for opportunities for her daughter. Today, Oumou is attending school, learning, growing, and gaining independence. She can now get ready on her own, carry her bag, and care for herself in ways her family once thought might never be possible.

What once felt impossible has become a testimony of hope. Oumou’s mother has watched her daughter transform before her eyes—and now holds onto hope where there was once uncertainty.

Marta first came to a mom’s Bible study, simply seeking community and encouragement. Over time, God transformed her life so deeply that her family began to notice the change in her faith, peace, and hope.

Then, during a difficult moment when her son was seriously injured, Marta invited our team to come pray. That night, her son gave his life to Jesus.

One mother’s changed life became the beginning of transformation for her family. This is the power of the Gospel in motion.

Moustapha’s mother never gave up on her son—even when life felt impossible. With a sick husband, overwhelming financial struggles, and uncertainty about how her deaf son could ever receive an education, she carried a heavy burden while continuing to fight for his future.

Because of support from this community, the opportunity for Moustapha to attend school became a reality. Today, he is thriving, growing in character, and preparing for vocational training.

His mother says God rescued her through the people who came alongside their family with love, support, and hope. Her perseverance and sacrifice helped open the door to a brighter future for her son.

Stories like this remind us that sponsorship impacts entire families—not just one child.
