The Silverdale Stake Presidency invites you to an evening of music, inspiration, and celebration of hope.

Join us for a special Hollywood Bowl Watch Party as the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square takes the stage in Los Angeles for a historic concert event. Come dressed casually and enjoy fellowship, delicious refreshments, and a powerful musical experience featuring world-class performers and uplifting messages of hope.

Donny Osmond, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Sebastian Arcelus, and Stephanie J. Block will join the Tabernacle Choir in a special performance benefiting women and children throughout the world.

Admission is free, and refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

Jesus Christ’s Teachings Bring Hope and Peace

Jesus was a master teacher. His sermons, given 2,000 years ago, still inspire people all over the world to lead better lives today. He taught the masses, but the Bible teaches us that He also took time to connect with people individually.

Each of us, including you, can feel greater joy and peace by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. “Finding the Lost Coin: Remembering Who We Are.

In a premortal perspective, the parable of the lost coin represents more than the value of a soul—it symbolizes our premortal identity, viewpoint, and convictions, the eternal truths we once possessed and cherished. The coin was not lost because it lacked worth, but because it was displaced, hidden beneath the dust of mortality. Likewise, as we enter mortal life, the divine knowledge and convictions we carried from our premortal existence can become obscured by worldly distractions, fear, and forgetfulness. Finding the lost coin is therefore essential because it is an act of remembrance—a reclaiming of who we truly are and what we once knew. The woman’s diligent search signifies intentional spiritual effort: light through revelation, sweeping through repentance, and careful seeking through obedience. Until the coin is found, something irreplaceable remains missing. Recovering it restores wholeness, reconnects us to our eternal nature, and enables us to live mortality with purpose aligned to our premortal covenants and divine destiny.

Finding my lost coin has brought me greater wholeness. When the woman finds the coin, she rejoices because what was lost has been restored (Luke 15:9). Likewise, as I reclaim my divine identity and premortal convictions, I feel joy, clarity, and renewed direction. I better understand why we are counseled to “remember” the Lord continually (Ecclesiastes 12:1; Helaman 5:12), because remembrance anchors us to our eternal nature.

I bear testimony that the Savior’s work is not only to redeem us from sin, but to help us remember who we are and where we came from. As I continue to search for and treasure that lost coin within me, I know I am drawing closer to Him and aligning my mortal life with my eternal destiny.
