Today we celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, the patron saint of our school and parish.

Even before his birth, St. John was chosen by God to prepare the way for Jesus. His life reminds us to live with courage, humility, and faith, always pointing others toward Christ.

As a St. John the Baptist community, may we follow his example by sharing God’s love through our words and actions each day.

This Father’s Day, we pray in gratitude for all those men who have been with us through the storms of life to calm our fears, lift our spirits, and manifest the love of God the Father. The vocation of fatherhood is a gift from God, and we thank Him for all the fathers in our lives who have manifested the Father’s love. Happy Father’s Day!

After eighteen years of faithful service, Deacon Jim is retiring from active diaconate ministry, and the 11:30 a.m. Mass next Sunday, June 21, will be his final Mass with us in his active ministry. We are grateful for his faithfulness, kindness, and deep commitment and love for our parish community. Please join us next Sunday, June 21, for a special reception for him in the Kazista Center Conference Room following the 11:30 a.m. Mass.
