On June 24, 2025 the Glenwood Community Church, the Santo Niño Catholic Church, and the Gila Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all gathered in the evening for a potluck “break the fast” meal. Our three congregations fasted together that day for rain which is so badly needed in our area. The gathering that evening was delightful. We had about 37 folks and we began with a beautiful “break the fast” prayer from Father Kingsley lijémonos. We sang Amazing Grace together, ate, socialized, and ended with sharing our experiences about the event. Many want to do this again. It was agreed that unity of our different faiths with the common testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was a means to lift all our spirits.

The North America South West Area has instructed our Stake to create a local newsroom page to help bring people unto Jesus Christ by building relationships with people and organizations to achieve the mission of the Church and increasing understanding of the Church.
