Let us join in prayer….
Early Morning Prayer – 6:00 AM (Saturday)
Heavenly Father,
In this sacred stillness at 6:00 AM, before the world awakens and before the demands of this day begin, I come before You with a quiet and surrendered heart. Your Word declares, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Lord, this morning I choose to seek You first.
Not Your blessings before Your presence.
Not provision before relationship.
Not success before surrender.
But You — above all.
Forgive me for the times I have chased after things that cannot satisfy. Forgive me for placing my trust in achievements, possessions, recognition, or human approval. Reorder my heart, O God. Purify my desires. Let my greatest hunger be for Your Kingdom and my deepest longing be for Your righteousness.
Teach me what it truly means to seek Your Kingdom. Let Your rule govern my thoughts, my words, my decisions, and my actions today. Establish Your authority over my ambitions. Align my will with Yours. May I not strive anxiously for what You have already promised to provide. Remove every restless craving that distracts me from wholehearted devotion.
Lord Jesus, You are the Blessor. You are my source, my sustainer, and my sufficiency. When I seek You, I lack nothing essential. Anchor my confidence not in what I can obtain, but in who You are. Let my trust in Your abundance free me from fear, comparison, and competition.
As this Saturday unfolds, clothe me with integrity in my work, grace in my speech, humility in my interactions, and wisdom in my decisions. Let righteousness mark my character. Let peace guard my heart. Let joy flow from knowing that I am rightly aligned with You.
I declare today that You are first in my life. First in my time. First in my priorities. First in my affections. Before any plan, before any conversation, before any responsibility — You.
Fill me so completely with Your presence that external blessings become secondary. And according to Your promise, add whatever is necessary for this day — strength, provision, favor, protection, clarity, and peace. I trust that when You are first, nothing essential will be missing.
As dawn approaches, let my soul remain anchored in You. May this early hour set the spiritual order for the entire day. I seek You, Lord — and in seeking You, I find life, purpose, and fullness.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen. POPE LEO XIV
