National Kite Month is recognized throughout April every year. Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts on all ends this is the day that worked out for parties involved closest date to April we could move forward with.

My dear FB family & friends 🥰
I come to you as the Unit Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Hardin County to ask for your help … H E L P !!!!!
I’m 64 yrs. old retired from the Beaumont Enterprise & the Hardin County Courthouse. Just when I thought my days would be full of reading, journaling, drinking coffee & napping here comes God redirecting me to work with children. I’ve been asked repeatedly if I like my job. My response is “this is the most absolutely ridiculous horrible paying job & I LOVE IT just like all these crazy wonderful teachers” !!!😳🤩❤️ I’m not even gonna lie it’s the hardest job ever for me but loving children & realizing that children learn independently better but not enough time is there is my daily challenge. They learn out of interest & especially curiosity not to please adults in power but to help themselves believe they can be in control of their own learning, deciding for themselves they must learn and want to learn is what my goal is.
The B&G Club needs help in making the 3rd Annual Fundraiser a SUCCESS!!! Any & all help is greatly appreciated. I worked on my Spring Break not because it was required but because I wanted to make improvements at the club. I was my own hero this week but you can be the absolute hero by helping the club better improve the program - providing educational & fun growth to our Hardin facility befitting club members. I’m available for any questions & look forward to celebrating awesome response to help us with our yearly fundraising event.
