Around Corner Post, there’s usually something on the calendar. Ride nights, youth events, clinics, and plenty of opportunities to get together. We love a full calendar and a good reason to gather!
But here’s the thing. It doesn’t have to be a special event to make a Sunday worth showing up for.
Sometimes, it’s just an ordinary Sunday at church.
Boots on the ground, Bibles open, familiar songs, a message from God’s Word, and a whole bunch of ordinary folks coming together to worship an extraordinary Savior.
And when the service is over, the fellowship doesn’t have to end. Folks visit a little longer, check on a friend, swap stories, make plans for the week, and see how everybody’s holding up. Kids are running around, conversations carry on in the parking lot, and somebody’s always willing to lend a hand when one is needed.
Nothing fancy. No big production. Just people doing life together.
Because being a church family isn’t just about gathering for the big days on the calendar. It’s about showing up on the ordinary days, too. It’s praying for one another, carrying each other’s burdens, and loving folks right where they are.
Galatians 6:2 reminds us to bear one another’s burdens. And sometimes, that looks like a mighty big act of kindness. Other times, it’s just a conversation, a prayer, or taking a few extra minutes to make sure somebody knows they aren’t walking alone.
We’re thankful for every event, every ride, and every opportunity God gives us to gather. But we’re thankful for the ordinary Sundays, too.
You don’t need a special event or a reason to come through the gate. Just come as you are, pull up a seat, and worship with us.
After all, we’re all just folks who need Jesus, trying to follow Him one day at a time.
