Last week we had an amazing trip to Guanajay! Our new team from Gate City Baptist Church really went above and beyond to build a great relationship with the local church. And, the church in Guanajay was so welcoming and friendly, they made us all feel right at home. I wish you all could have been there!

What a glorious week it has been working on the Church in Pinar Del Rio. The team made great progress and finished work today. They head back to Havana tomorrow. All the walls were repaired and resurfaced and now the only thing left is to paint the walls, which the church members will do. Even greater than the construction work is the testimony that these men had while they worked in the blistering heat. Several of the neighbors were watching and listening to the men as they worked and several commented on how well they worked together and how kind they were, and that they didn’t hear any cursing. The Pastor was able to tell these neighbors that this was because the men were Christians and that Christ had changed their heart. Praise the Lord! You never know who’s watching you, and how the Lord can use that to point people to Jesus.
