Day 5…Thank you Aysa for update and pictures.

Work continued on the front of the sanctuary (extending the foyer out) and adding a stoop to cover the new front door. Lots of heavy lifting in high, hard to reach places. Also, shingles are complete on new addition and fellowship hall. It all looks amazing, and I can’t get over how much has been accomplished in 5 days. They do have a few things to finish in the morning, and then sadly they will have to leave. They came as strangers, they became our friends, and they will be leaving as family. Be sure to check out the last pictures from dinner tonight!! So much delicious food and some mighty fine desserts…just ask Don and David!!! Hahahahaha

Day 4 Progress
Another great day of amazing Team work.

Our friends with North Highland Builders continue to be an inspiration.

Today they framed and sheathed the walls around new foyer.

The new addition was shingled, the Fellowship Hall shingles were removed and the roof prepped for the new shingles by Chip Phillips Roofing.

It was a blessing to have the pastor of North Highlands , Michael Wallace. He has served 25 years at the church.

Thank you to our CBC folks that have worked on the electrical and other tasks and to those that have brought food and served daily lunches.

Day 3…
Blessings!!! Come and be a blessing, and get a blessing!!!
Great day!! Expansion is blacked in.
Amazing coordination on all fronts.
Roof rafters tied in to existing building, roof decking all installed, wall sheathing installed, windows installed, wiring, etc.

Man what a day!!!

We can’t say enough about the sacrifice and hard work that is taking place by our visitors and CBC folks.
We also appreciate our seniors that may not be able to come and physically work but have helped pave the way for this to happen.

Thank you for all the food brought in and those who have helped in the kitchen.

Day 2…Success!!
Today has been full of Blessings!! Realized today that it’s not just North Highlands Baptist Church, but also members (including the Pastor) of Flint Hill Baptist are here to be a blessing to us as well! These people are working and moving, physically and spiritually. The bones of the new addition are up, and it’s starting to be covered. Trusses were put on today!!
Stop by and join in the fellowship!! We have fellowship inside and outside. All are welcome!!!

Continued appreciation for all participants in the work, food, serving, clean up etc. Don’t miss an opportunity to participate and receive a blessing of being a part.
