What’s more fun than a birthday party? A birthday party for the Saviour of the WORLD duh 🤪 oh what fun it’ll be this coming Sunday in LWC’s Youth Class! Send those kids in fun Christmas wear!

THIS Saturday we will be out at Light Up Sikeston from 6-7pm handing out candy & caroling by our church display! Come through and see the beautiful lights - over 100 creative displays to view. There is a donation drop off as you drive through if you’re able to donate!

The 24th after service we begin youth room revamp! Our hopes are to make this space welcoming & fun but also where we can utilize the space better.

Today we finished up the story of the beginning of Gideon’s calling.

Pointers:
1.How did Gideon view himself verses the way God viewed him?
2. Gideon doubted Gods command that he was to be a Mighty Warrior because he was the weakest link out of his people
3. Do you believe in what God has called you to do? Maybe your unsure of His plans for your life still and your seeking the answers..

Lots of good answers from the kids & a lot to think about!

“An Attitude of Gratitude”
Colossians 3:1-3,12-15 & Romans 12:2 talk about dying to our old man and living in the new. Posturing our minds to be a Christ like & keeping our thoughts on heavenly things.

Paul gives us eleven points of Gratitude in these scriptures..
1. Having Tenderhearted Mercy
2.kindness
3.humility
4.gentleness
5.patience
6.Make allowance for each others faults
7. Forgiveness
8.Love (Charity)
9. Harmony
10. Peace
11. Thankfulness

The last 2 Sundays we’ve been on this lesson of Gratitude. We wrote a list of things we could think of that we were grateful for & a separate list of things that annoy us. Both timed …can you guess which list was longer? It varied but it was a great way for us to evaluate our mindsets & rectify what was not helping us use these key points that Paul directed us too.

CoPastors Jason & Courtney will have individual buckets & will collect as much as they can through that month.. whoever collects the most beats the pie! Loser gets to take the hit 🫣
