The special focal point as you walk in the door of the newly redone fellowship hall, is this barn board cross. This cross is made from some of the barn boards of Reverend Hubert Winton, one of our former pastors (2 times) here at Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church. He was so loved by many in this community and this cross will always stand as a reminder of him and his love for God, and for the people of the Sawyer community.

Youth room/fellowship hall redo!!! After, and then before pics at the end! It looks so amazing! Thank you to everyone that made it possible. We are so grateful. ❤️

Sometimes we focus so much on fixing every relationship around us… but the one that quietly shapes them all is the one we have with God. When our hearts stay close to Him, our words soften, our patience grows, and our love becomes deeper. Start there. Everything else flows from it. We are painting the fellowship hall/youth church, so we went on a little field trip today! Lunch, and church in the park! It was so much fun!
