Can I share a Uncomfortable Good Friday truth?
Of course, I can!
The truth is that crowds cannot be trusted. Jesus performed numerous miracles in front of large crowds, including feeding them and teaching them. However, it's likely that some of those same people who he fed and taught, praised him with "Hosannas" and then later demanded his crucifixion.
When people love and support you, it's important to give thanks to God. But when they turn against you, it's equally important to trust in God's plan for your life. Never allow a mob mentality to make you believe that you are in or out of God's favor. That's the Holy Spirit's job.
Your role is to keep doing what God has called you to do, regardless of how people respond. Remember, crowds will always come and go, but God's plan for your life remains constant.
