The Vision Statement of the Faith Methodist Church is this: “To know God, To love God, To serve God and our neighbor”

We are a growing congregation with a long history of serving the Sidney, NE area. Fowler (1879-1880), to our current pastor, Rev. Jenkins (2016-present), we have been a constant presence in Cheyenne County. As a Global Methodist Church, our Three General Rules are as follows:
1.)

To do good
3.) To stay in love with God

In keeping with our Methodist tradition as set down by our founder, Rev. John Wesley, we seek always to be as Christ-like as we can. We are called to be the hands, and the feet, and the voice of Christ in the world. Therefore, our mission from Jesus is clear: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you.” [Matt. 28.19-20]

We would invite you to join with a people committed to following Jesus out into the world. After all, how can we expect others to “taste and see that the Lord is good,” if we are not willing to be both salt and light to them?
