40 Hours Eucharistic Adoration at Holy Angels | Volunteers Needed

We still need 35 adorers to fill the remaining hours for 40 Hours Eucharistic Adoration at Holy Angels. We especially need volunteers for Friday overnight, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Saturday overnight.

Our Lord will be exposed in the Blessed Sacrament, and we need to ensure someone is present with Him throughout the hours of Adoration. Whether you can come during the day or in the middle of the night, your presence matters!

Due to a funeral at Holy Angels, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be delayed until 12:00 noon on Friday.

Please consider signing up for an hour to spend time with our Eucharistic Lord. If you've never experienced 40 Hours Adoration, this is a beautiful opportunity to grow in your love for Jesus and His Real Presence in the Eucharist.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback regarding the sound system at Holy Angels during the Masses this past weekend.

Last Friday afternoon, it sounded like everything was properly operating when tested. However, the church was empty with no people in the pews. Since many of you told us that you couldn't hear or understand what was being said, we had the system thoroughly checked on Monday. It was discovered that the front two speakers were not hooked up properly, and the microphone at the ambo has a mute button (unbeknownst to most of us) and was accidentally muted.

Please note that without carpet absorbing some of the background noise, the acoustics are different. The organ and the singing sound much richer and resonate to a beauty not heard while the church was carpeted. The voices and cries of little ones also are amped up a bit, unfortunately.

Your continued positive observations regarding the sound system will help us to continue to adjust it to the best of its capability.

• Evening events scheduled in the church will resume. Watch the bulletin, Flocknote and Facebook for details.
