Praise the Lord for the faithful work of our General Conference delegates in electing our bishops. They will serve a 6 year term. Bishop Carolyn Moore will lead Allegheny West of which Sidney First is a part!

Today, we are reminded once again what it means to be the Church, to surround one another with love, prayer, encouragement, and unwavering faith.

Our Sidney First Methodist Church family continues to stand together as Team Vivian, lifting Vivian, Shaun, Ashlee, and their entire family before God in prayer.

And today, we have an especially wonderful reason to give thanks, Vivian is able to come home tomorrow!

We thank God for His loving care over Vivian, for the healing and strength He has provided, and for carrying her and her family through such a difficult journey. We are grateful for every answered prayer, every encouraging step forward, and for the doctors, nurses, family, friends, and community who have surrounded Vivian with so much love.

Most of all, we give all praise and thanks to God for His faithfulness and for this incredible blessing of bringing Vivian home.

Please continue to pray for Vivian’s continued healing, renewed strength, peace, and a smooth transition home.

Vivian, you are surrounded by a tremendous amount of love — and an army of people who will keep praying for you.
