“Hz. Hasan al-Basri (KS) saw people decorating for Eid and said, “Every day in which Allah is not disobeyed is an Eid. Every day the believer spends in obedience, servitude, remembrance, and gratitude is an Eid.” (Lataif al-Maarif). And the friends of Allah, they speak the truth.”-Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz.

“In these days, the majority of Muslims do not believe in zikr, and they do not make zikr. Zikr is the essence of all worship. All worship, whether you do, or you give, or you sacrifice, it is to remember your Lord. Your prayer is a zikr. Your sadaqah is a zikr, remembering your Lord with your money. The Hajj, Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik, it is to remember Allah. It is to go through a rehearsal of Judgment Day. Your Hajj and your Umrah are not vacations; they are Judgment Day.”-Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz.

On the 20th of May 2012, Sahibul Saif Sheykh Abdul Kerim al-Kibrisi (KS) physically left the Osmanli Dergahi in the Catskills Mountains for the last time. He looked upon the masjid he had built, the community he founded, and said: "Now I can pass with my eyes closed, in peace."

Sahibul Saif came to America in 1976, sent by his Sheykh into the jungle of New York City. For three decades he navigated this land, then established the merkez of the Osmanli Naksibendi Tarikat in the mountains, drawn by the spiritual pull of Sultan al-Awliya Sheykh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani (KS).

He transformed a garage and barn into an Ottoman Mesjid, setting the foundation for a community standing against injustice and tyranny. Among his final words was his reminder to respect and obey Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz. A few months later in Cyprus, he was veiled from this world.

May we honor his legacy and help grow this community until he returns. May Allah raise his station and may his himmet be with us always, amin. Ruhuna Fatiha

“Allah SWT has the right to accept, and He has the right not to accept. Who are we to say, “But I do everything perfectly, You must accept”? Who are we to say “must” to Allah Subhana wa Ta‘ala? That’s why, as believers, we believe in the mercy and the compassion of Allah. First, we are saying that with Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. We could have said, “In Allah’s Name, the Most Just, Ya Hakim, the Judge,” but it is Rahman and Rahim that Awliyaullah are saying. In Rahman and Rahim is hidden not only the 99 Names of Allah, but the thousand Names of Allah and the Ismul Azam. That’s why those who have some intelligence go one step further and say, who is the most compassionate other than Allah? Rahmatul lil ‘alamin, the Holy Prophet (AS). Those who follow him, those who sacrifice everything for him, we follow them in order to get mercy.”-Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz.

“We are here, whether you are 7 years old or 70 years old, because the Awliyaullah are on top of our necks and they say: change, change before they change you. Die from your wrong characteristics before you die. That time, when they get rid of the wrong characteristics in your grave, it is going to be very tough, very difficult. And if that’s not enough, only the fire can get rid of those wrong characteristics. That time you are going to scream, you cannot be helped.”-Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz.

The 28th of Zul Qa’Dah marks the Urs Of Khwaja Azizan Ali El Ramitani.

Khwaja Ali Ramitani (KS) was born in Ramitan, north of Bukhara. He took tarikat from Mahmud Anjir Faghnawi (KS), became his khalifa, then settled in Khwarezm. He became known as "Azizan" because he would humbly say "The Azizan say" before speaking.

In Khwarezm, he introduced himself as a weaver. Every morning, he would bring workers from the bazaar to his home, talk to them about religious and Sufi matters, then give them their wages. Once in his presence, they could not leave.

He taught: "Nine parts of worship is seeking halal rizik." He lived 130 years and was veiled in 721 AH (1321 CE). His makam is in Kone Urgench, Turkmenistan.
May Allah sanctify his secret and raise his station, and may his himmet always be with us, amin. Ruhuna Fatiha.

“La ilaha illa Anta, subhanaka inni kuntu mina’z-zalimin. When you realize that your own zulm, the cruelty that you inflict on yourself, compared to the mercy of Allah SWT, that is a time you give glory to Him, and you put yourself down. But when you do that, you expand, definitely. You understand? You’re making your ego small; you’re making Allah’s mercy expand. Then you may say, La ilaha illa Anta, very distinct, very distinct from “you.” You, and it’s very direct. La ilaha illa… it could be something else, it could be La ilaha illa Hu, but it’s Anta. You understand how close it is? In that admittance. This is the dua of Hz. Yunus (AS). That in our way, we should recite 100 times a day.”-Sheykh Lokman Efendi Hz.
