Srila Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami
Born into a wealthy Vaishnava family, Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami met Lord Chaitanya at fifteen. By Lord Nityanandaās mercy, he renounced his opulent family and beautiful wife. Lord Gauranga entrusted him with His personal Govardhana Shila and gunja-mala. Raghunatha Dasa practiced intense Radha-Krishna bhajana at Radha-kunda for forty years, setting a timeless example of pure, austere devotion. His literary contributions include Stavavalli, Mukta-charita, and Dana-keli-chintamani.
Srila Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami
One of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan, Raghunatha Bhatta was the son of Tapana Mishra, a prominent follower of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Chaitanya instructed him to live in Vrindavan, constantly chant the Hare Krishna mantra, and recite Srimad-Bhagavatam. His deep devotional ecstasy while singing the Bhagavatam touched all who heard him. He never criticized others, viewing all Vaishnavas as sincere servants of Krishna. Under his inspiration, a wealthy disciple built the famed Radha-Govindadev temple in Vrindavan.
Srila Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami
Born in Jhamatpur, Barddhaman, to a family of physicians, Sri Kaviraja Gosvami installed the deities of Gaura-Nityananda that are worshiped there to this day. Before writing Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita, he sought blessings from Sri Lokanatha Gosvami and Sri Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami. Respecting Lokanatha Gosvamiās humble request to remain unnamed, he refrained from mentioning him directly in the text. His principal works are Sri Chaitanya-charitamrita, Govinda-lilamrita, and a commentary on Krishna-karnamrita remain priceless treasures of Gaudiya literature.
