Volunteer Appreciation Dinner: Friday, September 18, 2026, right after the 7:00 PM Friday prayer. A special evening to thank and celebrate our wonderful community volunteers.

NE Suryoyo Family Day 2026: Saturday, September 19, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at St. Mary’s Syriac Orthodox Church (Shrewsbury, MA).

Theme: “Faith Passed from Generation to Generation” (Psalm 78:4)

Joining with our sister churches: St. Matthew’s (Boston) and St. Ephraim (RI).

The day includes prayer, youth activities, discussions, lunch, and dinner.

Please see the flyer below for The N E Suryoyo Family Day 2026, taking place on Saturday, September 19, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

This year’s theme is:

“Faith Passed from Generation to Generation”

We strongly encourage all our families, youth, children, and parishioners to register and attend this beautiful and meaningful day. This event will bring together our three churches: St. Mary’s, St. Matthew Boston, and St. Ephraim RI.

It will be a special opportunity for our families to come together in faith, fellowship, and love, while helping our children and youth stay connected to the Church, our Syriac heritage, and one another.

The day will include meaningful discussions, family-centered activities, fun for children and youth, and both lunch and dinner.

Please make every effort to attend and bring your children, family, and friends. Your presence matters, and we would love to see strong participation from St. Mary’s.

To all our parishioners

We would like to inform you that the Appreciation Dinner originally scheduled for this coming Friday has been postponed to Friday September 18 due to circumstances beyond our control following a recent bereavement

Please take note of this change and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support

May God grant comfort and strength to the bereaved family and may the rest the soul of the departed in his heavenly kingdom
