Shreveport, La 71118 Liberty Baptist Church began as a mission of Central Missionary Baptist of Shreveport in January 1964.

Then in April 1964 just 4 weeks after the first official meeting as a mission, Liberty was organized into a New Testament Church.

Mr. Harold Bryan English, 98, of Keithville, LA, was called home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2026, in Shreveport. He was born on October 20, 1927, in Gloster, LA, to Clara and Bryan English.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Southside, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin Arinder of Liberty Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, LA.
