Greetings faithful listeners and members of Shreveport Grace Church.
While Ken Wimer is on sabbatical, we have attempted to find ways to continue the Worship Services and Messages through Live, "Hybrid," and Recorded Message Broadcasts. To date, we have not found a successful technology tool to provide consistent communication. Ken is not in a position to develop new content. Therefore, for the remainder of the month of March we are going to cease from Public Communication and Worship from Shreveport Grace Church. We are grateful that there are a plethora of messages on Sermon Audio and we encourage you to listen and worship on your own this month.

Our church meets at 2970 Baird Rd, Shreveport, LA 71118. We continue to enjoy the blessing of hearing the Gospel of Christ preached as we meet together on Sundays and Wednesdays. This passage portrays Babylon the Great as a force leading people further away from Christ and persecuting His followers. It serves as both a prophecy and a warning about spiritual deception and the ultimate judgment of evil.

True prayer is for the sanctity and glory of the Father alone. His name is hallowed only by the work of the LORD Jesus; therefore, none can come to God but by HIM: "Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me'" (John 14:6).

"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed by Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth."

The LORD Jesus is the Merchant Man who came to earth, having been given the charge of His wealthy Father's business—to redeem and save them from utter loss and make them heirs of the Kingdom. Not only did the LORD Jesus come to purchase them, but also to keep and manage them as members of the Father's kingdom, ensuring their eternal salvation.

The number one idol of man is himself. The word "idol" begins with the word "I." When you consider that, you see that this is fundamentally what drives everything a man thinks. If God doesn't keep His hand on us, this depraved heart, without any sort of restraint, will lead us back into idolatry.

Just as Timothy was called to guard and pass on the Gospel, we, who are the Lord's people in our generation, are entrusted with the same sacred Word of Christ. May we remain faithful to the pattern of sound teaching and live it out with unwavering faith and love, as faithful stewards of the Word of God!
