Thankful For Every Sacrifice

It is easy to overlook the sacrifices people make for us every day. Soldiers keeping us safe , friends show up when we are struggling, and loved ones give their time, energy, and care without asking for recognition. Most importantly, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice by giving His life so we could have hope and eternal life. Gratitude changes our hearts when we stop and remember that love often looks like sacrifice. Today, instead of focusing only on what we want, let’s thank God for the people who give so much and remember the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. A thankful heart helps us love others better and appreciate the blessings we often take for granted.

On this Memorial Day, we remember not only the courage of our fallen heroes, but also the families who carry their memory with honor and strength. May we never take for granted the freedoms purchased at such a high cost.
