Today, I officially announce my Notice of Intent to run for the DeSoto Parish School Board District #11.
This isn’t something I decided overnight. If you know me, then you know my heart has always been with people—especially our young people. Whether it’s through church, mentoring, community events, school activities, or simply being there when a young person needs encouragement, I’ve always believed our children are worth showing up for.
I love DeSoto Parish. This community has poured so much into me and my family over the years, and I believe it’s time for me to give back in another way.
Our students deserve every opportunity to succeed. Our teachers deserve to be supported. Our parents deserve to be heard. And our community deserves leadership that will listen, work hard, and always put our children first.
I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do promise to lead with integrity, to listen with an open heart, and to make every decision based on what’s best for the children and families of DeSoto Parish.
I’d be honored to earn your trust, your prayers, and your support as we take this journey together.
