Each Sunday we will have guest speakers from four of our supported missions’ efforts that will give us a report on their activities and service to our local community. The BUMC Mission Team invite all members of the congregation to join us in the chapel during the Sunday School time from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. The schedule is as follows: June 7- Faith and Fostering, June 14 - Catholic Charities, June 21 - Hope Connections, and June 28 - Reform Shreveport.

The Broadmoor United Methodist Men will be teaming up with the St. Luke's UMM on June 25th at St. Luke's for some Christian fellowship and dinner. Danielle Turner of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Louisiana will be speaking on Fraud Prevention. The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries and chips. There is no set cost to pay. However, donations to cover the food and expenses will be taken at the door. Registration is not mandatory. You can just show up! However, It is requested that you register so we will know how much food to provide. Please come join us and bring a friend! The event starts at 6:00pm and the speaker begins the presentation at 6:30 PM. To register please do so through your Realm account or contact the office at 318-861-0586 or [email protected].

This Sunday recognizes and supports the contributions of Native Americans to the church and society. Part of the funds collected allow collaboration with existing Native American ministries, create programs and support seminary scholarships. Just a reminder it's Picnic in the Park this Sunday from 4-7 PM at North Bossier Park. We are kicking off the summer with a picnic in the park. Hot dogs, games, and more.

Join us for casual-attire worship during our summer months (Now until the Sunday after Labor Day). We are observing casual attire in our three Sunday worship services during this summer. One of the ways to beat the heat is to come to worship more comfortable if you desire. I hope you will join us in our summer journey as we seek to continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by helping us Know, Grow, and Go in God’s love during these important days.
