This year, we adopted Harmony House Nursing Home and created Christmas baskets for every resident.

As we delivered them, we were reminded of something important: almost 80% of nursing home residents never receive visitors.

That’s someone’s mother… someone’s father… someone who still deserves to feel seen, valued and loved.

So we invite you to slow down and show a little love to someone who may need it.

A phone call.
A visit.
A simple act of kindness.

It makes a bigger difference than you think.

God hasn’t forgotten them and neither will we.

We are the church with the community at heart.

What a blessing it was to hand out food to those in our community!

We partnered with The Shreveport Lamplighters, Praise Temple North, Temple Of Vision Ministries, and our faithful members to serve families throughout our community.

Thanks to the generous donation from Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, families received boxes filled with produce, non-perishables, and hens to help provide a Thanksgiving meal.

This is what it looks like when the church and community walk hand in hand.

At Sunrise Baptis Church, we are the church of the community with the community at heart.
