Good Morning All Singers and Musicians, At the request of the family we have been asked to form a mass choir to render the music ministry at the Homegoing Celebration Honoring the Life & Legacy of Deacon John Pettaway. The Homegoing Celebration will be held on this coming Saturday @ 11:00a.m. at the Praise Temple Full Gospel Cathedral. There will be a brief rehearsal on this Thursday, June 20, 2019 @ 7:00p.m. at the Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church. Hope to see you there as we prepare to Celebrate the Life of this Gospel Legend!

On behalf of the Pastor and Official Staff, We would like to render notice of the passing of our Beloved Deacon; Deacon John Pettaway. Prayers are extended to his sons and remaining family. Deacon Pettaway will be sorely missed among our family, and we mourn with his biological family during this time. Arrangements are pending at this time, we will give an update as it becomes available to us. Plesse keep the Pettaway family lifted in prayer!

Pastor Kimbke made a special tribute was made to Lone Star's own Min Rico Craig for receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Theology and being the graduate with Highest Honors. We are all so proud of him. To God be the Glory for the things he has done.

Members and Friends in Christ, let us not forget the graduation festivities for our esteemed Summa Cum Laude Graduate Min. Ryan Rico Craig.
This evening the Graduate's Baccalaureate Program will be held at the United Baptist Theological seminary and bible college beginning at 7pm. The official graduation will be on Saturday at 3pm. We are most certain Min Craig would love to see you at one or both of these event. Please keep him in your prayers as God continues to uplift him for His Glory! Jeremiah 29:11

Good Morning Ladies! As we continue to Celebrate Women's Month we will hold rehearsal for Sunday's Women Chorus on tomorrow evening at 7:00p.m. Please invite your family and female friends to come share in the chorus with you!! It is open to ALL Women, they don't have to be members of the Church, however the invitation is ALSO extended to the Women of the STAR who don't routinely sing in the choir...Look forward to seeing you all along with your guest present, everybody try to bring atleast one guest!
