CORNER DOG DAY RECAP! ❤️🌭

What an AMAZING day of outreach, fellowship, food, fun, and connection! 🙌🏽

The Lake family came OUT and showed up in a BIG way! Today was a huge success, and we are so grateful for every person who volunteered, served, encouraged, prayed, cooked, connected, and helped make this day possible.

From the smiles and laughter to the delicious food and great fellowship, there was such a beautiful spirit throughout the community. Most importantly, the people we encountered were receptive, appreciative, and welcoming. We had meaningful conversations, made new connections, and had the opportunity to simply love on our community and let them know that The Lake is here! 🫶🏽

A special THANK YOU to Matthew, Mark, Luke & John Gospel Groups for leading the four corners!

Today was more than hot dogs. 🌭
It was community.
It was connection.
It was fellowship.
It was service.
It was LOVE in action. ❤️

Hey Lake Family! Tomorrow is Corner Dog Day, and we’re getting ready to SERVE our community! 🙌🏽

Yes… WE KNOW IT’S GOING TO BE HOT! 🥵☀️ But let’s not allow the heat to keep us from the opportunity to fellowship, serve, pray, and connect with our community.

Come prepared! 💪🏽
🌀 Bring your neck fans
🌀 Bring your handheld fans
🌀 If you have a generator, bring a large fan
💧 Bring your coolers filled with plenty of water
☀️ Dress comfortably and be prepared to serve!
🎶Bring your speakers

This is more than just handing out hot dogs. It’s an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. ❤️

💦 BAPTISM SUNDAY! 🙌🏽

There’s nothing more beautiful than witnessing lives being changed and hearts being renewed! Last Sunday, we celebrated those taking the next step in their faith through baptism. 🕊️

Let’s celebrate with them, pray for them, and encourage them as they walk in this newness of life!

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead… even so we also should walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4

Serving Faithfully. Serving Cheerfully. ❤️

At The Lake, serving is more than filling a position, it’s about being part of something bigger than ourselves.

When you commit to serve in an area of ministry, we encourage you to serve faithfully, wholeheartedly, and with a cheerful spirit. Your presence matters. Your attitude matters. Your willingness to show up matters.

The church is strongest when we all do our part. When everyone works together, supports one another, and serves with excellence, we create an environment where people can feel welcomed, cared for, connected, and encouraged.

Imagine what can happen when everyone says, “You can count on me!” 🙌🏽

One person serving can make a difference. All of us serving together can make an even greater impact.

Let’s honor the commitment we’ve made, encourage those serving alongside us, and remember that our service is ultimately an act of worship unto God.

Lake family, we need ALL HANDS ON DECK! ❤️

Join us August 29th from 10AM–1PM as we hit the corners of our community for a day of fellowship, witnessing, prayer, and serving!

We have an opportunity to love on our neighbors, share a meal, have meaningful conversations, pray with people, and let our community know that The Lake is here! 🙏🏽❤️
