Considering Esther some things you have to keep a secret, if you talk to much you can disrupt the alignment, purpose & will of God.

The level to which you allow God to make you uncomfortable is the level to which you allow God to bring growth in your life. Loving God and loving people may seem simple, but it is not easy. Following Jesus requires all of you and transforms all of you.

Jesus wants us to love God with our hearts, which include our will, drive, and desires. He wants us to love God with our souls, which include our emotions and feelings. Jesus invites us to love God with our minds, including our intellect, attitude, and temperament. Finally, we're invited to love God with our strength, including our abilities, powers, and the force of our bodies.

I encourage you to wrestle with whether you are loving God with part or all of you. Perhaps you grew up being encouraged to embrace part of who you are while rejecting another part of who God made you to be.

We all have strengths and preferences. We like to show those parts of ourselves to the world. We tend to avoid our weaknesses, hide the parts we don't like, and never show people what we are ashamed of.

Even with our spouses and closest friends, it can be tempting to spend mental energy managing our unfortunate tendencies and unwanted qualities.

However, the good news is that Jesus doesn't react like we're afraid everyone else will react. Jesus knows us better than anyone else and loves us more than everyone else. In Luke 12, Jesus taught his disciples that they are worth far more than sparrows. He told them that God numbered the hairs on their head. We are that precious to Him!

So, if God knows and loves all of us, is it any wonder He wants a relationship with us? When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, He essentially said, "Love God with all of you, and love your neighbor as yourself." When Jesus mentioned loving God with your heart, soul, mind, and strength, it was obvious that Jesus wanted a holistic relationship with His creation. Contrary to our fears, Jesus doesn't want us to hold anything back.

Forgiving is not an option !

Do you know God understands your feelings? God not only understands our feelings but also cares for our pain. We don’t have to say a word for God to know what we think or feel at any point in our existence. God knows us better than anyone else.

In Psalms 61, David cried out to God. David was struggling and lost. A simple cry out to God brought David peace and comfort. He was able to see that God was his rock.

Just like David, we should cry out to God when times become dark or hard. When our hearts and thoughts are overwhelmed, crying out to God brings us stability. It brings comfort and a sense of safety. I’m sure we have all had moments where we thought the light would never shine through the darkness. Our struggles, pains, and circumstances may have seemed like they would never end, but a simple cry out to God changed the entire trajectory of our situation and brought deliverance to our lives.
Reflection
What is something currently overwhelming you that you have not brought to God?

Prayer
Lord, I cry out to you, asking for peace, rest, and comfort in my life. Through my darkest moments, the moments I struggle, the times I become overwhelmed, and when I’m lost, I pray for your Grace and care. Rest my mind and bring peace through to my heart. Place me at the top of the rock so that I can find rest and safety in the Rock of Salvation. In Jesus name Amen.

“Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭

I am NOTHING WITHOUT GOD !!

Isaiah 64:6 ►
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭
