Morning Star Women Attend American Heart Association Go Red Luncheon
Members of Morning Star Baptist Church were honored to attend the Northwest Louisiana Go Red for Women Luncheon hosted by the American Heart Association on June 11, 2026. The event brought together women from across the region to promote heart health awareness, education, and advocacy.
Representing Morning Star were members of the Nurses Guild, the Women’s Council, and other church members who proudly accepted the invitation to participate in this important community event. Dressed in red to show their support for heart disease awareness, the ladies enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship while learning more about the importance of maintaining healthy hearts and encouraging others to do the same.
Morning Star Baptist Church takes great pride in partnering with the American Heart Association and supporting initiatives that improve the health and well-being of our community. Through education, awareness, and service, we remain committed to helping individuals make informed choices about their health.
We sincerely thank the American Heart Association for including us in this meaningful event and for the work they continue to do in the fight against heart disease and stroke. We look forward to strengthening our partnership in the coming year and participating in future heart health initiatives, including Heart Month activities and community outreach programs.
Together, we can continue to raise awareness, encourage healthy lifestyles, and make a positive difference in the lives of women and families throughout Northwest Louisiana. ❤️
“A healthy heart is one of God’s greatest gifts. By caring for our hearts, we are better equipped to serve our families, our church, and our community.”
