Pew Religious Landscape Survey reveals that 77% of people raised as religious are still religious as adults. What are you doing to invite young people into the faith, including in your own family? We will discuss this Tuesday night in Small Group. Come to the Activities Center at 6 pm. Bring your own supper. Drinks are available.

Tuesday Night Schedule:

September 8 - Mission Night - We will be assembling 24 boxes for the Franklin Graham Operation Christmas Child project. If you want to participate and have not signed up call me about what is needed. Bring finger foods to share.
September 15 - Rose Park Baptist has invited us out to their Senior Adult event. You must pay $10 in advance to Joan Robbins. This starts at 5 pm. Those riding on the FBC van meet at the Activities Center at 4:30.

September 29 - Game Night - Activities Center - Potluck

Price Harris Night of Praise is this Friday night at 6 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue. Love offering will be taken.

Branson at Bethany, Tuesday, December 1 at 9:30 am. Tickets are $19. They go on sale tomorrow. FBC will get 30 tickets. See me or come by the church office to pay for this.

Fall Fling - Trip to Laurel, Mississippi, November 4-6. Pay $100 down to reserve your seat on the van.

Tonight our group is going to Rose Park Baptist for a patriotic program. Fifteen from our Singles group signed up for this. If you are riding in the FBC church van we are departing from the Activities Center at 4:30.

The Shreveport Community Church is hosting gospel singing on the first Saturday evening of each month at 5 pm. August 1st the featured groups will be 8th Street and Premiere Sound. Come around to the back side to the Kids’ City Theater.

Verse of the Week:

In this season of Easter, pay attention to the role of women in the life of the church. Give thanks for the faith, hope and love of the women who first shared the good news of the Resurrection, and the women who continue to do so today.

Tuesday Night Schedule:

April 14 - Picnic in the Park - Come to Betty Virginia Park at 6 pm. Bring your own supper. Bring your grandkids, your dog, your frisbee. Everyone is invited to this annual event. In case of rain we will move to Jason’s Deli.
